Wildlife Management Unit TEKS 2 a,b,c,d

Wednesday-
TEKS 2 a,b,c,d

Objectives: Students should be able to identify vocabulary words with up to 80 percent.

We will begin Wednesday by asking students to create a quizlet using the terms provided on google classroom. They will need to study this quizlet in order to prepare for a quiz on Friday. When students complete their quizlet they may study for the remainder of class if they complete before the bell rings.

Warm Up- In your composition notebook define wildlife management in your own words.

Thursday-
TEKS 2 a,b,c,d

Objectives: Students should be able to discuss the benefits of wildlife management.

Today we will begin our wildlife management unit by covering the first section of the powerpoint. Post the Wildlife Management Student Notes and the Vocabulary Handout to be used as a references. Show slides 1 to 15 of the Wildlife Management – Wildlife & Fisheries Management segment. Hand out the Natural Resource Data Activity and allow the remainder of the class for students to work.

Friday-

Objectives: Students will complete assessment 1 with up to 80 percent

Remind students to continue using the Student Notes and Vocabulary Handout as reference materials. Show slides 16 to 28 of the Wildlife Management – Wildlife & Fisheries Management segment. Students should complete the corresponding Assessment. Allow the remainder of the class for students to complete the Activity. Corresponding assessment is assessment 1.

We will also take a daily grades on notes today. They will need to turn in the copy via google classroom. I will do this by walking around the classroom and checking their computers to make sure their notes are being completed.
